Video Diary 1: Days 1-3
August 8, 2010
Here’s an update from our first few days.
Our first interview will be uploaded tomorrow morning.
On both, we’ve learnt a few lessons about sound quality! So put your ear next to your computer microphone, and grin and bear it for now. Next time, it’ll be better. If not, donate some money so we can buy an external microphone!
Today we interview the youth party leader of the social democratic party, a policeman and hopefully someone from one of the poorest suburbs in Stockholm. Tomorrow we set off once more, towards Upsaala north of Stockholm. Fingers crossed it stops raining!
Until next time, Steve

I like it
Look forward to hearing how much you hurt as the days go by…. like I told you, I’m envious of the trip, buy not of the cycling! ;D
So sorry I missed the farewell tea! Really great video. I hope you have a fantastic adventure.

try to see Rolf when you reach Upsaala and post a photo! I know he said he wouldnt be a very helpful source but he is a priest!! and therefore should have some comment on social stuff. He makes a nice pot of tea anyway!
Love Stockholm.Stayed in a huge white moored boat that was a youth hostel when I was there – did you notice it?
Sounds like it is definitely an adventure. Hope you’re not hurting too much!
This is awesome, keep it up guys! Really glad you’re able to get these done as you go. Looking forward to the interviews
Looking forward to the interviews
Hi Stevie – hope this gets to you.
Do go see Rolf when in region of Upsaala. He is a priest so surely must have some comment to make on social issues? he makes a nice cup of tea anyway!
Did you see the random man that walks in the trees behind Hacon in that video in the woods, just after you said ‘ people leave us alone’ I thought some Swedish farmer was going to pop up saying ‘get off my land’
Interesting project. You were in a major news paper, SvD, today. I hope you will achive some good insights that you can share to us swedes as well.
